**New Delhi, India:** England’s dynamic batter Danni Wyatt has been traded from the UP Warriorz to the Royal Challengers Bengaluru for the upcoming Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 season. The move was confirmed by the WPL in a recent statement.

Wyatt, who was originally acquired by UP Warriorz for INR 30 lakhs in the first WPL auction, will join RCB at her existing fee.

“Danielle is a game-changer and a phenomenal athlete,” said RCB captain Smriti Mandhana. “Her skills and competitive spirit align perfectly with our team’s vision. We are excited to welcome her to the RCB and look forward to the energy she will bring to the squad.”

Wyatt brings a wealth of experience to RCB, having played a record 164 T20 Internationals for England, the highest number for any English player in the format. She is the third-most capped player in T20Is, only behind Harmanpreet Kaur and Suzie Bates.

In her T20I career, she has amassed 2,979 runs at an average of 22.91 and a strike rate of 127.85, including two centuries and 16 half-centuries.

Wyatt has been in good form recently, top-scoring for England with 151 runs in the Women’s Big Bash League, where she currently plays for the Hobart Hurricanes.

The UP Warriorz, who failed to qualify for the playoffs in the previous WPL season, did not use Wyatt in any of their matches.

RCB fans will be eagerly awaiting the impact of this experienced and talented batter on their team’s campaign in the upcoming WPL season.
