**Hyderabad, February 15th, 2024:** Newly appointed Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman, B.R. Naidu, has announced plans to improve the darshan experience for devotees at Tirupati, ensuring that they can receive blessings within an hour. Naidu also declared his intention to abolish the existing trust and implement a token system for darshan, similar to the past.

“My vision is to ensure that every devotee receives darshan within an hour,” said Naidu, while addressing the media in Hyderabad. He added that the existing trust would be dissolved and a system similar to the previous token system would be introduced for darshan.

Naidu also announced the establishment of special committees to oversee the supply of materials and management of temple lands. He plans to focus on improving the university and hospital facilities in Tirupati and has proposed the installation of water plants and provision of free drinking water in paper glasses.

Addressing concerns about alleged corruption within the temple administration, Naidu stated that the previous government had been involved in illegal activities and vowed to ensure transparency in TTD operations, including the management of finances. He further emphasised that all employees working in Tirupati should be Hindus.

Naidu highlighted the issue of waste management in Tirupati, promising to address the unpleasant odor emanating from accumulated waste. He also pledged to take action against the water mafia operating in the region.

The appointment of Naidu as TTD Chairman marks a new chapter for the organization. His promises to improve the darshan experience, tackle corruption, and enhance the overall management of the temple have been welcomed by many devotees.
