This Diwali, the haunted halls of the “Bhool Bhulaiyaa” franchise will once again echo with laughter and screams as the third installment hits theaters on November 1st. The film, which blends horror and comedy to create a unique cinematic experience, has captured the hearts of audiences since its inception.
The first “Bhool Bhulaiyaa” (2007) directed by Priyadarshan, introduced audiences to the chilling world of an ancient palace in Rajasthan. The film featured Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, and Shiney Ahuja, and became a box office success, earning ₹49.11 crore lifetime. Vidya Balan’s terrifying portrayal of the vengeful spirit Manjulika remains iconic in Bollywood horror cinema.
