**Cupertino, CA -** Apple has unveiled a new lineup of MacBook Pro laptops featuring the latest M4 chip generation, promising significant performance and AI capabilities. The new models come equipped with M4, M4 Pro, and M4 Max processors, and boast upgraded features like anti-glare screen options, faster ports, an improved webcam, and extended battery life.

The new MacBook Pro models follow recent releases of the M4-powered iMac and Mac mini, showcasing Apple’s commitment to its new chip platform across its Mac lineup. This launch comes just days after Apple introduced its AI platform, Apple Intelligence.

The 14-inch MacBook Pro starts at $1,599, the same price as the previous generation, but offers up to 1.8 times the speed. The M4 Pro version boasts a three-fold performance increase over the M1 Pro, while the M4 Max surpasses the M1 Max by 3.5 times. All models feature enhanced AI capabilities.

The new MacBook Pros retain the design of the 2021 models, but the entry-level 14-inch version now comes in black, a feature previously exclusive to higher-end models. A notable upgrade in the base model includes a 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU, compared to the previous 8-core CPU. The M4 Pro configuration reaches up to 14 CPU cores and 20 GPU cores, while the M4 Max offers up to 16 CPU cores and 40 GPU cores.

Other significant enhancements include an optional nano-texture display for $150, a 12-megapixel camera, and a 24-hour battery life for the 16-inch model.

Apple has also increased the minimum memory for all models. The entry-level MacBook Pro now comes with 16GB of memory, while the M4 Pro models start at 24GB and the M4 Max at 36GB.

The latest MacBook Pro models, featuring the M4 chip, are now available for pre-order and will hit stores on November 8th.
