**Salangpur, Gujarat:** Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday inaugurated the newly constructed “Gopalanand Yatrik Bhavan,” a Rs 200 crore guest house at the Shree Kashtabhanjan Dev Hanumanji temple in Salangpur, Gujarat. The sprawling facility, built over 9 lakh square feet, boasts over 1150 rooms and was completed in a remarkably short span of two years.

Addressing the gathering, Shah highlighted the significance of Lord Hanuman and shared his personal experiences seeking solace during challenging times. He emphasized that the guest house will serve as a much-needed resting place for devotees traveling from distant locations.

Shah also paid homage to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his 149th birth anniversary, praising the “Iron Man of India” for his role in shaping the map of modern India. He lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision to celebrate Patel’s 150th birth anniversary over two years, ensuring the continued dissemination of his ideals.

Following the inauguration, Shah and his family sought divine blessings at the temple.

On Friday, he is set to inaugurate Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation’s Waste to Energy Plant, a public-private partnership project.
