Apple has unveiled a new, compact Mac Mini powered by its latest M4 and M4 Pro chips. This mini powerhouse, measuring just five inches in both length and width, is designed to handle both everyday tasks and demanding workloads.
The new M4 chip boasts a 1.8x faster CPU and 2.2x faster GPU performance compared to the M1 model, delivering exceptional speed and efficiency. The M4 Pro chip pushes the boundaries even further, offering three times the performance of the M2 chip, making it perfect for demanding tasks like 3D rendering and audio processing.
The new Mac Mini boasts a sleek design with ports on both the front and rear. The M4 model includes three Thunderbolt 4 ports, while the M4 Pro variant comes with a faster Thunderbolt 5 port, capable of transferring data at speeds up to 120GB per second.
Supporting high-resolution displays, the M4 Mac Mini can connect to two 6K monitors or one 5K monitor. The M4 Pro model can handle a remarkable three 6K displays.
Apple’s intelligent features are also integrated into the new Mac Mini, offering enhanced writing and editing capabilities. Users can leverage tools like Image Playground and Genmoji for on-device text-to-image generation. Additionally, ChatGPT will be available on macOS starting in December.
