Nagaur witnessed a surge in shopping activity on Monday, as residents flocked to markets to purchase Diwali essentials, including utensils, jewelry, clothes, and vehicles.
The excitement surrounding the festival is evident in the high demand for vehicles, with over 400 vehicles already booked in advance.
Astrologer Dinesh Prem Sharma has identified auspicious times for shopping on Dhanteras, which falls on Tuesday. He highlighted the “Tripushkar Yog” from sunrise to 10:27 AM, “Abhijeet Muhurat” from 11:48 AM to 12:23 PM, and “Ghodhuli Muhurat” from 5:46 PM to 6:12 PM as the most favorable periods for purchasing gold, silver, utensils, and vehicles.
Furthermore, the puja for Dhanteras will be performed from 5:41 PM to 8:05 PM in some households.
The festive spirit is high in Nagaur, with locals making the most of the auspicious timings to ensure a prosperous Diwali.
