**Bhilwara, Rajasthan:** As Diwali approaches, the Bhilwara Municipal Corporation is leaving no stone unturned in making the city clean and beautiful. The corporation has undertaken extensive preparations to give the city a festive makeover.
Streets are being repaired, government buildings are being painted and cleaned, and artists from Sirohi have been brought in to create vibrant murals on major intersections and walls across the city. These murals, showcasing the art and culture of Mewar, will add a touch of artistic beauty to the city, making it an attraction for residents during Diwali.
Mayor Rakesh Pathak said, “Just like every year, the people of Bhilwara and the Municipal Corporation will celebrate Diwali with great enthusiasm. Our technical and other teams are working tirelessly to paint the entire city in pink, giving it a fresh look. All government offices are being painted anew, and the city will be sparkling clean.”
Shyamlal Vaishnav, an artist from Sirohi, shared, “We have been invited by the Municipal Corporation to beautify Bhilwara ahead of Diwali. We are creating murals depicting the culture of Mewar, including designs inspired by Lord Krishna, cows, flowers, and other artistic motifs. Our team is working day and night to paint government buildings and public spaces, giving them an attractive look.”
The walls are first painted in a dark terracotta color, and then white paint is used to create vibrant motifs. These colorful murals will undoubtedly be a major attraction for the residents of Bhilwara during this Diwali.
