**London, UK** – Oasis is taking a stand against ticket scalping by canceling roughly 50,000 tickets for their upcoming UK and Ireland tour that were resold on secondary websites like StubHub and Viagogo.

The band’s promoters, Live Nation and SJM, are taking this drastic measure to combat price gouging and ensure fans have a fair chance to attend the highly anticipated reunion shows.

“We want to make sure fans are not being exploited,” stated a spokesperson for the promoters. “Reselling tickets on unofficial secondary sites violates our terms and conditions and ultimately harms the fans.”

Fans expressed outrage online after witnessing skyrocketing ticket prices on secondary sites. Some tickets were listed for as much as $7,294 on Viagogo, far exceeding the original face value.

The promoters have confirmed that canceled tickets will be made available at face value on Ticketmaster, the official ticketing platform for the tour. Fans who believe their tickets were wrongfully canceled are encouraged to contact their ticket agents for further investigation.

The band itself has urged fans to only purchase tickets through authorized channels, warning of potential fraudulent activity on unofficial sites. They also encourage fans who wish to resell tickets to do so at face value through Ticketmaster or their official resale partner, Twickets.

While the UK allows legal ticket resale, some secondary sites, such as Viagogo, have vowed to continue offering Oasis tickets for sale, claiming full compliance with regulations.

The Oasis Live ’25 Tour kicks off on July 4, 2025, in Cardiff, with subsequent shows planned in Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin. The North American leg of the tour begins on August 24, 2025, in Toronto, Ontario.
