A Delhi resident, Mohit Jain, has publicly accused online grocery delivery platform Blinkit of delivering a smaller gold coin than the one he ordered during Dhanteras. Jain, who had pre-paid for a 1-gram Mata Lakshmi gold coin, claims he received a 0.5-gram Malabar gold coin with a rose design instead.
The incident occurred when Jain was unable to receive the delivery himself and entrusted his younger brother with the OTP verification. Upon returning home, Jain discovered the wrong item had been delivered. He claims that the return window had closed within 20 minutes, preventing him from reaching customer support.
Jain further expressed his frustration with Blinkit’s lack of support, stating that he was only able to communicate with AI bots. Despite providing CCTV footage confirming the delivery of the wrong item, Jain claims he received no assistance from Blinkit, including from the delivery agent, who admitted to delivering the wrong item.
