Wed Oct 30 08:19:29 UTC 2024: ## Blinkit Accused of Scam After Delivering Wrong Gold Coin in 10-Minute Delivery: Customer Shares Ordeal on X
A Delhi resident, Mohit Jain, has accused online grocery platform Blinkit of scamming him after he received a 0.5 gm gold coin instead of the 1 gm gold coin he ordered for Dhanteras.
Jain, who ordered the coins through Blinkit’s 10-minute delivery service, shared his experience on X, stating that he was away when the delivery arrived and his brother received the order. Upon his return, Jain discovered the wrong item was delivered, and the return window had closed.
He claims that despite showing the delivery partner pictures of the ordered coin and having CCTV footage as evidence, Blinkit’s customer support dismissed his complaint, citing a closed return window.
Jain’s tweet went viral, sparking outrage among social media users who shared similar negative experiences with the platform, criticizing Blinkit’s customer service and accusing them of greed.
Blinkit is yet to respond to the allegations. This incident raises concerns about the reliability of fast delivery services, particularly when dealing with high-value items. It remains to be seen how Blinkit will address this issue and whether it will take steps to improve its customer service and ensure accurate deliveries.
