Wed Oct 30 07:03:33 UTC 2024: ## Blinkit Accused of “Scam” After Delhi Resident Receives Wrong Gold Coin

A Delhi resident, Mohit Jain, has taken to social media to accuse quick commerce platform Blinkit of a “scam” after he received a 0.5 gm gold coin instead of the 1 gm gold coin he had ordered. Jain also purchased a 10 gm silver coin, both items listed under Malabar Gold & Diamonds.

Jain claims he was not home to receive the order and gave the OTP to his brother, who accepted the delivery. Upon returning home, he discovered the discrepancy. Jain says that the return window closed within 20 minutes, preventing him from contacting Blinkit support. He further alleges that the delivery person, despite having pictures of the correct item, refused to help.

To support his claim, Jain provided screenshots of his order details, a picture of the 0.5 gm gold coin he received, and a screenshot of his conversation with Blinkit’s customer support, which only provided automated responses and closed the support window.

Jain’s story has sparked outrage online with users expressing their own negative experiences with Blinkit’s customer service and urging the company to investigate the matter.

Blinkit has yet to publicly comment on the situation or address Jain’s complaints.
