**Nagaur:** Dhanteras, the festival of wealth and prosperity, will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 25th, along with the birth anniversary of Lord Dhanvantari, the god of health. This day marks the auspicious occasion of worshipping Lord Dhanvantari, the god of medicine and Ayurveda. It is believed that his worship brings freedom from diseases and ensures good health.

Pandit Sunil Dadhich, a local priest, stated that according to the Hindu calendar, Dhanteras falls on the thirteenth lunar day of the Krishna Paksha (dark fortnight) in the month of Kartik. He further explained that Lord Dhanvantari is revered as the father of Ayurveda, and his worship is considered highly auspicious.

Devotees across Nagaur are expected to perform special rituals and offerings to Lord Dhanvantari on this day, seeking his blessings for good health and well-being.
