**Hyderabad:** Vijay Madduri, an NRI businessman, has vehemently denied allegations of drug use in a recent case. Madduri, who has a clean record as an American citizen and investor, claims all statements attributed to him in the FIR are false.
He presented evidence of his recent foreign travels to refute claims that he was involved in any illegal activities. Madduri emphasized that he has never consumed any illegal substances in India and expressed his deep concern over the numerous rumors circulating in the media and on social media.
In a statement released to the media, Madduri clarified that his presence at a recent family function and Diwali party was at the invitation of his friend, Raj Pakala. He attended the event with his family, which included women, elderly people, and children. He insists that no illegal activities took place during the event.
Madduri expressed his distress over the police allegations, stating that they are causing immense hardship to him and his family. He condemned the attempt to damage his 25-year-long successful career with a single false accusation and urged the authorities to consider the facts and evidence he has provided.
