**Dehradun, Uttarakhand**: The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) has released the provisional answer key for the Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) 2024. Candidates who took the exam on October 24th can now download the key from the official UBSE UTET website (ukutet.com) or the UBSE website (ubse.uk.gov.in).

The two-hour and thirty-minute exam was held in two shifts, with the first shift beginning at 10:00 a.m. and the second at 2:00 p.m. The exam, consisting of Paper I and Paper 2, included 150 multiple-choice questions worth a total of 150 marks.

**To download the answer key, candidates can follow these steps:**

1. Visit the official website of UBSE UTET (ukutet.com).
2. Click on the UTET Answer Key 2024 link on the homepage.
3. A new PDF file will open, containing the answers.
4. Download the file and keep a hard copy for future reference.

Candidates who have objections to any of the answers provided in the key can challenge them within the stipulated time. Objections must be submitted through email to secyutet@gmail.com, using the prescribed format.

**Qualifying Marks:**

* General category candidates need at least 60% (90 marks) to qualify.
* OBC, PWD, and Ex-Servicemen candidates need at least 50% (75 marks).
* SC and ST candidates need at least 40% (60 marks).

Qualifying candidates will be eligible to teach in upper primary classes in Uttarakhand.
