**Chennai, October 28, 2024:** The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released the results for the Group 4 Combined Civil Services Examination (CCSE-IV) on its official website, tnpsc.gov.in. Candidates can access their results by logging in with their registration number, date of birth, and security code.

The exam, conducted on June 9th, saw a massive turnout of 15.8 lakh candidates vying for 6,244 positions across various departments including Junior Assistant, Bill Collector, Typist, Village Administrative Officer (VAO), and Steno-Typists.

Candidates who cleared the exam will be eligible to appear for the Group 4 mains examination, the date for which will be announced soon on the TNPSC website.

The Group 4 exam was conducted in two parts – a Tamil Eligibility-cum Scoring Test (Part A) and a General Studies and Aptitude Test (Part B). Candidates needed to score at least 40% in Part A to be eligible for evaluation of Part B.

The results mark a significant step towards filling crucial positions in various government departments, contributing to the state’s administrative efficiency.
