**Mumbai, India** – Gautam Singhania, Chairman and Managing Director of Raymond Ltd., has publicly criticized Lamborghini India and Asia executives for their lack of response to customer issues.
The textile tycoon took to social media to express his disappointment after his new Lamborghini Revuelto suffered a complete electrical failure while he was test-driving it on Mumbai’s trans-harbour link. Singhania described the incident as “arrogance” from Lamborghini’s top management.
This was reportedly the third instance within 15 days where a new Revuelto had experienced mechanical issues. Singhania, visibly frustrated, shared a photo of the car being towed and questioned the car’s reliability.
He specifically called out Lamborghini India Head Sharad Agarwal and Asia Head Francesco Scardaoni for their lack of communication, claiming that neither had reached out to him regarding the issue.
“It is shocking that the India Head of Lamborghini has not even bothered to make a phone call… Is the brand arrogance getting to another level?” Singhania asked in a subsequent post.
Singhania’s public complaints have sparked a discussion about customer service standards within the Indian luxury market.
Lamborghini is yet to issue a public statement addressing the situation.
