**Hyderabad:** A major fire incident occurred in the Boggulakunta area of Abids on Sunday night. The blaze erupted in a fireworks shop called “Paras Fireworks,” leading to a huge explosion and widespread panic among residents.
The fire quickly spread to a nearby hotel, prompting people to evacuate the area. Firefighters arrived at the scene and brought the fire under control using three fire tenders. The incident, which occurred near the Devasthanam Department office, resulted in damage to over ten two-wheelers.
The loud explosions and the ensuing fire instilled fear among local residents. One woman sustained injuries during the incident and was rushed to the hospital by an ambulance.
This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of ensuring proper safety measures and regulations are in place for the storage and handling of fireworks.
