The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC) has announced a new official website, **csbc.bihar.gov.in**, replacing the previous address, **csbc.bih.nic.in**. This new website will be the primary source for all information, including the highly anticipated results for the Bihar Police Constable recruitment exam 2024.
The written exam for the Constable vacancies was conducted in 38 districts across Bihar on August 7, 11, 18, 21, 25, and 28. The CSBC is expected to release the provisional answer keys for the exam soon, inviting objections from candidates.
Following this, the final answer key, along with the category-wise cut-off marks, will be made available alongside the results. The CSBC has also announced the steps for checking the results:
1. **Visit the commission’s new website: csbc.bihar.gov.in**
2. **Open the Constable written exam result page.**
3. **Enter your login details, if required.**
4. **Submit and check your result.**
This recruitment process has faced several delays. The initial exam dates, October 1, 7, and 15, 2023, were canceled after the first day of the exam. The board attributed the cancellation to security concerns and later conducted the re-exam under strict precautionary measures to ensure fairness.
Candidates were allowed to enter the exam hall 1.5 hours prior to the exam but were only permitted to leave after the OMR sheets were sealed. All electronic devices, including mobile phones and watches, were strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.
