**Chennai:** The eagerly awaited results for the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) Group 4 exam are expected to be released within the next two days, sources within the commission have revealed.

The exam, which was conducted on June 9th, saw a massive participation of 15.8 lakh candidates vying for 8932 vacancies across various departments including Secretariat, Boards, Forest Service, and Public Sector Undertakings.

The initial number of vacancies was 6244, which later increased to 6724 and finally reached 8932 with the addition of 2208 more positions. The exam aimed to fill roles such as Village Administrative Officer, Junior Assistant, Typist, Forest Guard, and others.

The provisional answer keys were released on June 19th, and the commission had initially announced that the results would be declared in October.
