Sun Oct 27 04:00:00 UTC 2024: ## Golden Knights Welcome Back Karlsson, Korczak as Olofsson Hits IR Ahead of Sharks Matchup
**LAS VEGAS** – The Vegas Golden Knights are set to welcome back two key players in William Karlsson and Kaedan Korczak for their Saturday night matchup against the winless San Jose Sharks.
Karlsson, who missed the first eight games of the season due to an undisclosed injury, is expected to return to the lineup alongside Tanner Pearson and Alexander Holtz. Korczak, who impressed in his season debut against the Kings, will fill in for Nicolas Hague, who sustained a lower-body injury against the Senators.
The Golden Knights will be without Victor Olofsson, who has been placed on injured reserve after being deemed week-to-week by head coach Bruce Cassidy. Olofsson sustained an injury against the Washington Capitals.
The Sharks, still looking for their first win of the season, will be led by Tomas Hertl, who is coming off a hot streak with three goals and five points in his last two games. Interestingly, Saturday’s game will mark Hertl’s first-ever appearance against his former team.
The Golden Knights, undefeated at home with a perfect 5-0-0 record, will be looking to extend their winning streak. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 PM PST at T-Mobile Arena.
