– The investment follows a long-term lease extension with The Waterfront complex.
– Planned renovations include new seating, a downstairs bar serving specialty cocktails, beer, and wine, and upgrades to common areas such as carpeting and paint.
– Outside the theatre, parking areas will be redeveloped for potential new apartments, hotels, and restaurants.
– The AMC Waterfront 22 has been a key fixture in the complex since its opening in 2000, located on a site formerly occupied by U.S. Steel’s Homestead Steel Works Plant before its closure in 1987.
