Mon Oct 21 13:37:48 UTC 2024: Veteran actor Anupam Kher, with a career spanning over four decades, recently expressed feelings of emptiness regarding not having a biological child with his wife, Kirron Kher. During an interview, he opened up about this feeling becoming more prominent in the last seven to eight years, especially after both Kirron and her son, Sikander, became busy with their own lives. Kher, who married Kirron in 1985 and welcomed Sikander from her previous marriage, emphasized that his feelings of longing do not reflect dissatisfaction with Sikander, but rather a desire to experience the joys of parenting. He noted that while this sentiment is not a tragedy, it became more apparent to him as he aged, particularly after 50-55. Kher also mentioned his involvement with children through his foundation and shared insights on how he occasionally misses the presence of children in his life. On the professional front, he is preparing for the release of his second directorial project, “Tanvi The Great,” following his previous directional effort in 2002.
