**New Delhi, October 17:** The National Testing Agency (NTA) has finally released the much-awaited results for the UGC NET June 2024 examination. The results, along with subject-wise and category-wise cut-offs, are available on the official NTA website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

The examination, conducted between August 21 and September 4, saw over 6.84 lakh candidates appear across various cities in India. The results were delayed after the original June exam was canceled due to allegations of paper leaks.

**Key Highlights:**

* **Candidates qualified for Assistant Professor only:** 53,694
* **Candidates qualified for JRF:** 4970
* **Candidates qualified for PhD only:** 1,12,070
* **Total number of candidates registered:** 11,21,225
* **Total number of candidates appeared:** 6,84,224

The NTA has also released the final answer keys for Manipuri, Sindhi, music, and performing arts, which were used to compile the results.

**Eligibility for Fellowships:**

Candidates qualifying for JRF will be admitted into PhD programs based on interviews conducted by universities. The marks obtained by candidates qualifying for Assistant Professor only or for PhD only will have 70% weightage in PhD admissions, with the remaining 30% based on the interview/viva voce conducted by the university or HEI.

**Important Information:**

* Candidates can access their results using their application number and date of birth.
* The UGC NET June 2024 scorecards include percentile scores and marks.
* NTA has asked candidates to verify their photo, signature, and QR code on the scorecards.
* The results are available on the NTA website (ugcnet.nta.ac.in), DigiLocker, and UMANG mobile applications.
* The NTA Score (percentile) is calculated for multi-shift papers, with the lowest percentile being the eligibility cut-off for all candidates in that category.
* There are reservation quotas for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, General-EWS, and PwD candidates.
* The UGC NET June 2024 results are not subject to rechecking or re-evaluation.
