**New Delhi:** The University Grants Commission (UGC) is expected to release the notification for the December session of the National Eligibility Test (NET) soon. This follows the announcement of results for the June session, which is scheduled for October 18, 2024.

The application process is expected to commence shortly after the notification is released. Candidates can apply online through the official website – ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

**How to Apply:**

1. Visit the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
2. Click on the “UGC NET 2024 Registration” link once it is activated on the homepage.
3. Fill out the online application form with personal details, educational qualifications, preferred exam centers, subject choices, and other required information.
4. Upload the necessary documents.
5. Complete the application process and pay the application fee.
6. Cross-check the filled application form and take a printout for future reference.

**Previous Year’s Schedule:**

In 2023, the UGC NET December session notification was released on September 30, 2023. The application period ended in late October, with a window for corrections between November 1st and 3rd. The exams were conducted from December 6th to 22nd, 2023.
