Get ready for chills as the first trailer for the supernatural horror film “The Monkey” has dropped, based on the iconic short story by Stephen King. Directed by Osgood Perkins (“Longlegs”), the film stars Theo James (“The White Lotus”) as twin brothers who uncover a cursed monkey toy in their attic, leading to a series of gruesome deaths.
The trailer teases a sinister monkey, shrouded in shadows, playing drums while a bloodied James removes his glasses. A close-up shot of the creature’s teeth sends shivers down the spine before fading to black.
Joining James in the cast is a star-studded ensemble, including Tatiana Maslany (“She-Hulk”), Elijah Wood (“The Lord of the Rings”), Laura Mennell (“Batwoman”), and more.
