McDonald’s fans rejoice! The iconic McRib is officially making a return, first in the UK and then, hopefully, soon in the US. After a near-decade absence, the McRib is back on menus across the UK, with McDonald’s UK citing overwhelming fan demand.

“It is more than just a sandwich; it’s a phenomenon,” said Thomas O’Neill, Head of Menu at McDonald’s UK. “We have heard our fans loud and clear – the fan petitions and pleas on social – and after almost a decade of anticipation, we are thrilled to bring back this iconic menu item.”

While the UK comeback is a definite win, the US McRib return is still a bit of a mystery. McDonald’s US has hinted at a return later this year, and reports from Missouri and Kansas suggest a launch date of November 27th in those regions. However, McDonald’s corporate has not officially confirmed this yet.

For those desperate for their McRib fix, a dedicated McRib Locator website shows locations around the globe where the sandwich is available. Currently, it can be found in the UK, Guatemala, Canada, and permanently on German McDonald’s menus.

The McRib, with its boneless pork patty, pickles, onions, and signature McRib sauce, continues to be a fan favorite. With its limited-time return, fans will need to act fast if they want to get their hands on this iconic sandwich.
