**Dhaka, October 20, 2024:** Bangladesh’s star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan will miss his own farewell Test match against South Africa, scheduled to begin on October 21 in Dhaka. The veteran cricketer had previously announced his retirement from Test cricket after the first Test, but unforeseen circumstances have prevented him from participating in the match.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced that Hasan Murad will replace Shakib Al Hasan in the squad.
