**Chandigarh:** The BJP’s resounding victory in Haryana has ignited optimism within the NDA, with top leaders viewing it as a game-changer for the upcoming Maharashtra and Jharkhand Assembly elections. Following the swearing-in ceremony of the new Haryana government, a meeting of NDA leaders was held, where strategies for the upcoming polls were discussed.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing the gathering, emphasized good governance and improving people’s lives, highlighting the alliance’s commitment to empowering the poor and downtrodden.

Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh declared the Haryana victory a “Modi wonder,” while BJP president JP Nadda emphasized the need for “pro-people governance” based on the PM’s directive. The meeting unanimously passed six resolutions, with a focus on the BJP’s success in Haryana.

Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde, in a resolution, accused the INDIA bloc of spreading lies during the Haryana elections, claiming the victory was a fitting reply to their campaign. Nadda highlighted the support the BJP received from farmers, youth, sportspersons, and the general public, attributing the victory to PM Modi’s leadership and the people’s blessings.

Nadda also drew attention to the recent oath-taking ceremony in Jammu and Kashmir, conducted under the Indian Constitution for the first time after independence, demonstrating the impact of the abrogation of Article 370. He further announced plans to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Constitution in 2025, emphasizing the importance of upholding democratic values.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar expressed confidence that the NDA’s performance in the upcoming Assembly elections will be boosted by the Haryana victory.

This meeting served as a strategic gathering for the NDA, signaling a renewed focus on consolidating its position ahead of the crucial Maharashtra and Jharkhand elections.
