**GULF SHORES, ALA. (Billboard)** – Country music superstar Morgan Wallen is set to bring his own music festival to the beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama, next year. The 15-time Billboard Music Awards winner announced the three-day “Sand in My Boots Festival,” slated for May 16-18, 2025.

The festival, named after Wallen’s 2022 No. 1 Billboard Country Airplay hit, will be held at the same site as the annual Hangout Music Festival and is a collaboration between Wallen, AEG Presents, and the Hangout Festival.

While the full lineup and ticketing details will be revealed in the coming weeks, Wallen promised a multi-genre experience featuring some of his closest friends, favorite artists, and musicians he has always wanted to perform with.

“Morgan Wallen here to share some exciting news me and my team have been working on for a while for y’all,” Wallen said in a video posted on social media. “We’re heading south to the beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama and I’m bringing some good friends with me. Mark your calendars for May 16-18, 2025 for the Sand In My Boots Fest. Stay tuned and we’ll get you some more info soon!”

Executive Vice President of Goldenvoice and Producer of Stagecoach, Stacy Vee, expressed her excitement about the project, stating, “Creating a Festival with Morgan has been a dream come true … and some of the most fun I have ever had booking a show! I can’t wait for fans to come and experience one of the most eclectic and electric lineups and on-site experiences the world has ever seen.”

AEG Presents and Hangout Festival Producer Reeves Price echoed Vee’s enthusiasm, calling the event “something very special” and noting its significance as it coincides with the 15th anniversary of the Hangout Festival.

This isn’t Wallen’s first foray into festival curation. Earlier this year, he and Eric Church collaborated to launch the “Field & Stream Music Festival,” which was unfortunately postponed due to Hurricane Helene. This festival is part of Wallen and Church’s recent acquisition of the outdoor lifestyle brand Field & Stream.

With the “Sand in My Boots Festival” set to hit Gulf Shores next year, Wallen is poised to deliver a unique and exciting musical experience for fans.
