**Bengaluru:** The first Test match of the three-match series between India and New Zealand in Bengaluru saw a young Indian batsman, Sarfaraz Khan, emulate an iconic shot by the legendary Sachin Tendulkar.
The match, which began with India winning the toss and opting to bat first, took a turn for the worse as India was bundled out for a meager 46 runs in their first innings. However, the team bounced back in their second innings, showcasing impressive batting prowess.
During his innings, Sarfaraz Khan played a stunning uppercut shot for his first six, reminiscent of Tendulkar’s iconic shot against Shoaib Akhtar during the 2003 World Cup. The shot, played in the 25th over, sent the crowd into a frenzy as they witnessed a young talent replicating the genius of a legend.
