All three teams – West Indies, South Africa, and England – finished the group stage with an identical six points each. However, it was the West Indies who emerged victorious, claiming the top spot with a superior net run rate (+1.504). South Africa (+1.382) secured the second spot, while England (+1.117) were unfortunately eliminated.
England posted a respectable total of 141/7 in their allotted 20 overs, with Skiver Brent top-scoring with 57 runs. West Indies’ bowler Fletcher played a crucial role, taking three wickets.
