**Hyderabad, India (October 18, 2024):** The highly anticipated Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 11 is set to begin in Hyderabad on Friday. The opening match will see the 2018 champions, Bengaluru Bulls, face off against the Telugu Titans.
The captains of all 12 participating teams gathered at a press conference in Hyderabad on Thursday for the trophy unveiling.
The first phase of the tournament will take place at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad until November 9th. The second phase will be held in Noida from November 10th onwards, and the final phase will be held in Pune from December 3rd to 24th. A total of 137 matches, including playoffs, will be played throughout the league.
The Telugu Titans had a disappointing performance last season, winning only two out of 22 matches. Despite the impressive performance of their star raider, Pawan Sehrawat, the team failed to secure a playoff spot under his captaincy. This season, the Titans have brought in new players and a new coach, Krishan Kumar, hoping to improve their fortunes.
