Fri Oct 18 04:03:03 UTC 2024: ## UGC NET 2024 June Results Declared: 1.70 Lakh Candidates Qualify
**Chennai:** The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the results of the UGC NET 2024 June exam for 83 subjects. A total of 1,70,734 candidates have qualified the exam, which was re-conducted from August 21 to September 5 after irregularities were detected in the initial June exam.
Out of the 11,21,225 candidates who registered for the exam, 6,84,224 appeared. The NTA has also released subject-wise cut-offs along with the results.
The results show that 1,12,700 candidates are eligible for pursuing PhD studies, while 53,694 have qualified for the post of Assistant Professor. 4,970 candidates have been awarded the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).
