The initiative, held at the Helen Keller School for Deaf & Deaf Blind in Vashi, featured a Kabaddi match between athletes supported by the Cricket Association, showcasing the sport’s accessibility to visually impaired individuals.
The collaboration aims to highlight the abilities of differently-abled athletes and showcase how modifications can make Kabaddi accessible to everyone. This event comes on the heels of India’s record-breaking performance at the Paralympic Games in Paris, further fueling the dream of including Kabaddi in the Olympics.
