**Chandigarh, October 14, 2024:** The Punjab government has announced a holiday for all government service centers in the state on October 15th, 2024 (Tuesday) in view of the upcoming Panchayat elections.

The announcement was made by Punjab’s Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances Minister, Aman Arora. He stated that all service centers will remain closed on October 15th to allow staff to exercise their voting rights.

However, the service centers will operate as usual from 9 am to 5 pm on all other days except October 15th.

This decision ensures that government employees are able to participate in the upcoming elections without disruption to their work schedules.
