Wed Oct 16 16:02:19 UTC 2024: ## Punjab Service Centers Closed on October 15th for Panchayat Elections
**Chandigarh, India -** The Punjab government has declared a holiday for all service centers in the state on Tuesday, October 15th, in view of the Panchayat elections.
The decision was announced by Aman Arora, Punjab’s Minister for Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances. He explained that all service centers will remain operational from 9 am to 5 pm on all other days, except for the 15th of October.
Previously, a state-wide holiday had already been declared for the 15th of October. The service centers will resume regular operations on October 16th.
