**Mumbai, India:** Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has expressed disbelief and ridicule over the events leading to the murder of politician Baba Siddique, taking a thinly veiled swipe at the alleged involvement of Lawrence Bishnoi and his connection to Salman Khan. In a series of posts on X, Varma paints a picture of a “lawyer-turned-gangster” (Lawrence) seeking revenge for the death of a deer (allegedly related to Salman Khan) by ordering the killing of a “big politician” (Baba), who was a close friend of the “star” (Salman).
Varma highlights the alleged absurdity of the situation, pointing out that the gangster is supposedly protected by the government while operating from prison, with his spokesperson communicating from abroad. He challenges the public to imagine a Bollywood script with such a plot, suggesting it would be deemed “unbelievable and ridiculous.”
The public seems to share Varma’s sentiment, with many commenting on the outlandish nature of the situation. One user compared the events to a “real-life gangster script,” while another noted that even Bollywood wouldn’t dare write such a story.
Baba Siddique was shot and killed on October 12th at a rally, with his son also being targeted. The Mumbai police have arrested Pravin Lonkar, the brother of Shubuu Lonkar, who claimed on social media that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang was responsible for the murder. Since then, security measures have been heightened outside Salman Khan’s residence.
The shocking events continue to raise eyebrows and fuel public discussion about the murky world of organized crime and its intricate connections to the realms of politics and celebrity.
