Mon Oct 14 19:21:46 UTC 2024: ## Italy to Rest Inter Milan Duo Against Israel, Frattesi Starts

**Rome, Italy** – Italian manager Luciano Spalletti has announced changes to the Azzurri starting lineup for their Nations League clash against Israel on Tuesday, with two Inter Milan players set to be rested.

While Davide Frattesi will retain his starting spot, wingback Federico Dimarco and defender Alessandro Bastoni will be benched, according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset.

This comes as a surprise following the three Inter players’ starting roles in the 2-2 draw against Belgium last week. However, Spalletti is aiming to use the international break to give other players in his squad an opportunity and avoid over-using key players.

Dimarco’s place will likely be filled by Tottenham Hotspur wingback Destiny Udogie, while Alessandro Buongiorno, who joined Napoli from Torino this summer, will step in for Bastoni in the heart of the Italian defense.

Despite the changes, Frattesi, who has been a key player for Italy under Spalletti, is expected to continue his crucial role, especially with the absence of injured Inter teammate Nicolo Barella.
