**OTTAWA, ONT** – The Los Angeles Kings overcame a first-period deficit to defeat the Ottawa Senators 4-2 on Monday, October 14th, in a game that saw a flurry of goals in the second period.
The Kings started strong, with Kevin Fiala scoring a power-play goal at 8:12 and Trevor Lewis adding another goal just 56 seconds later. However, the Senators responded with a power-play goal of their own by Jake Sanderson at 10:25.
The second period was where the game truly came alive. Adrian Kempe scored a power-play goal at 5:31, giving the Kings a 3-1 lead. Zack MacEwen pulled one back for the Senators at 10:26, but Alex Laferriere answered just 50 seconds later to put the Kings back up by two goals.
