**LOS ANGELES** – The Los Angeles Dodgers’ remarkable streak of 33 consecutive scoreless innings in the playoffs came to an end in the first inning of Game 2 of the National League Championship Series on Monday.

New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor, facing Dodgers reliever Ryan Brasier, launched a leadoff home run to right field, a 395-foot shot that put the Mets ahead 1-0.

The Dodgers, opting for a bullpen game in Game 2, saw Brasier take the mound as the first of several relievers scheduled to pitch.

The Dodgers’ streak had tied the postseason record set by the Baltimore Orioles in the 1966 World Series. The team achieved the milestone in Sunday’s Game 1, blanking the Mets 9-0 thanks to a combined three-hitter from starter Jack Flaherty and relievers Daniel Hudson and Ben Casparius.
