Tue Oct 15 10:40:00 UTC 2024: ## Actor Bala Granted Bail After Arrest in Wife’s Complaint
**Kochi, October 14, 2024:** Actor Bala was granted bail by the Ernakulam Judicial First Class Magistrate Court today, following his arrest earlier this morning in connection with a complaint filed by his former wife. The bail was granted with conditions that he refrain from making any statements about his ex-wife and daughter on social media and refrain from contacting them.
Bala was arrested by the Kadavantra police for allegedly making defamatory statements against his ex-wife. He was taken into custody early this morning and presented before the court.
Responding to the arrest, Bala expressed his pain and said, “I have not made any statements about this issue for the past three weeks. I have kept my promise. I do not understand why I am being arrested now. Everyone knows why this is happening. We need to investigate who is playing what game. I am not dragging my family into this. You decide why this is happening. God will avenge my tears. I will not remain silent anymore. God will punish those who made me cry.”
Bala’s lawyer has earlier stated that they will approach the High Court seeking the dismissal of the case.
