**Ranchi, Jharkhand:** Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Monday distributed appointment letters to 498 Community Health Officers at Project Bhavan in Ranchi. The CM expressed his hope that these newly appointed healthcare workers would contribute to strengthening the state’s healthcare system. He emphasized the importance of a balanced workforce, including both male and female personnel, in providing quality healthcare.
Soren also highlighted the government’s initiatives to improve healthcare infrastructure, including the recent foundation laying ceremony for a world-class hospital with private sector involvement. He emphasized the importance of not just infrastructure but also medical supplies and nursing staff.
In addition to the appointment ceremony, Soren inaugurated the construction of the new Jharkhand Bhavan in Navi Mumbai. The seven-storey building, spanning 28,000 square feet, will provide accommodation for financially weaker individuals seeking medical treatment in Mumbai.
Soren also inaugurated a 220/30kV grid sub-station in Hazaribagh, aiming to reduce the state’s dependence on DVC for electricity. This project is expected to improve power supply in the region.
These projects and appointments demonstrate the Jharkhand government’s focus on enhancing healthcare and infrastructure across the state.
