**Mumbai, India** – Wipro shares jumped 2.46% to Rs 541.96 on Monday after the company announced that its board will meet on October 16-17 to consider a bonus issue for equity shareholders.
The IT giant’s strong Q1 FY25 results, which saw a 5.95% increase in net profit to Rs 3,003.2 crore, also contributed to the positive market sentiment. However, revenue from operations declined slightly by 1.1% to Rs 21,963.8 crore in the June quarter.
