Mon Oct 14 18:10:00 UTC 2024: ## Germany’s Pavlovic Returns for Nations League Clash with Netherlands
**MUNICH, GERMANY** – Germany will welcome back midfielder Aleksandar Pavlovic for Monday’s UEFA Nations League match against the Netherlands, coach Julian Nagelsmann confirmed on Sunday. Pavlovic, who missed Friday’s 2-1 victory over Bosnia with a knee injury, will partner with Angelo Stiller in the midfield.
The 20-year-old Bayern Munich player is a key figure for his club and is considered a promising prospect for the German national team ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
Stiller, 23, is set for his third international cap after making his debut last month. Nagelsmann praised Stiller’s training and performances, highlighting him as another promising young player for the future.
“He has started this season well,” said Nagelsmann of Stiller. “He still has a few things he can do better. But I want to see him do that. Given his age, he is a prospect for us. We have two years until the World Cup… so we need some younger players.”
Germany currently leads Nations League Group A3 with seven points, while the Netherlands sit in second place with five. The two teams drew 2-2 in their previous encounter in Amsterdam in September.
“It will be an interesting game against a good opponent,” said Nagelsmann. “We could have won in Amsterdam so we’ll try to do it tomorrow. We’ll be more pushed than we were against Bosnia.”
