**UDHAGAMANDALAM, October 14, 2024:** The Nilgiris district police are currently investigating a series of hoax bomb threats targeting a private school in Coonoor and four hotels in Udhagamandalam.
The threats were received via email on Monday, prompting immediate evacuation measures at all affected locations. The Tamil Nadu Police Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) conducted thorough searches of the five premises, ultimately determining the threats to be false.
Nilgiris Superintendent of Police, N.S. Nisha, confirmed that investigations are ongoing to identify the source of the emails.
