**Noida, India** – HCL Technologies, a leading IT services company, announced strong second-quarter results for the fiscal year 2024, with integrated net profit rising by 10.51% to ₹4,235 crore. This represents a significant increase from ₹3,832 crore recorded during the same period last year.

The company’s revenue also witnessed a robust growth, reaching ₹28,862 crore in the quarter, marking an 8.21% increase over the previous year’s ₹26,672 crore. This positive performance was attributed to strong demand in areas such as data and AI, digital engineering, SAP migration, and efficiency-based programs.

HCL Tech’s board has declared an interim dividend of ₹12 per equity share for the year 2024-25, signaling its confidence in the company’s future prospects. The announcement was met with positive sentiment from investors, pushing the company’s share price up by 2% to ₹1,865.

“The revenue growth has been accompanied by improved profitability. Our EBIT margin in the second quarter has increased by 1.49% to 18.6%,” said Shiv Valia, Chief Financial Officer of HCL Tech.

HCL Tech added 780 employees during the quarter, bringing its total workforce to 2,18,621. The company expects its annual revenue growth to remain stable at 3.5-5.0% on a constant currency basis.
