**Bailur, Karnataka:** The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) held a grand Vijayadashami procession in Bailur on October 13th, highlighting the organization’s commitment to national unity and the fight against societal ills.
Dr. Sudhakar Shetty, President of the Ajeakar Padmagopal Education Trust, addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of RSS’s role in safeguarding the nation. He lauded the organization’s dedication to nurturing patriotism among youth, drawing a parallel between the RSS and a mother who nurtures her child.
Shetty expressed concern over the rising threat of infiltration by individuals from neighboring countries posing as Hindus. He termed this as a “cancer” within the nation, alongside the presence of individuals promoting anti-national sentiments. He called upon all citizens to actively work towards safeguarding the country from such threats.
He further emphasized the need to break free from caste-based divisions and embrace national unity. He urged parents to encourage their children to join the RSS, instilling in them a sense of national pride and responsibility from a young age.
The procession started at the Bailur Rama Mandir and concluded at the Mari Gudi Temple, with over 260 volunteers participating. The event culminated in a gathering at the temple’s assembly hall, where RSS District Coordinator Raghavendra Boudhik delivered a speech.
