The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the schedule for the three-match ODI series between India and New Zealand women’s teams, which will be played in Ahmedabad from October 24th to 29th.
All three matches will take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, with the first match scheduled for Thursday, October 24th at 1:30 PM IST. The second match will be on Sunday, October 27th at 1:30 PM IST, and the final match will take place on Tuesday, October 29th at 1:30 PM IST.
This series follows the ongoing Women’s T20 World Cup, where India has lost their most recent match against Australia, putting their semi-final hopes in jeopardy. Currently, India stands second in the Group A standings with a net run rate of 0.322, behind Australia (net run rate of 2.223).
India’s fate in the tournament hinges on the outcome of other matches. If Pakistan (net run rate of 0.488) defeats New Zealand (net run rate of 0.282), India will secure a semi-final spot.
Meanwhile, the Indian men’s team is set to face New Zealand in a five-match Test series from October 16th to November 5th.
