The match, which was played before a passionate crowd, remained fiercely contested throughout the first set, with neither player able to break the other’s serve. However, in the tiebreak, Sinner quickly asserted dominance, breaking Djokovic’s serve on the first point and moving into a commanding 5-1 lead. Djokovic rallied, but a volley into the net brought up set point for Sinner at 6-3.

Despite missing his first opportunity, Sinner capitalized on his second set point with a strong serve. The turning point in the second set came in the fourth game, when Sinner went 40-15 up on Djokovic’s serve.
